Carcassonne
Introduction
- Carcassonne is a popular tile-placement board game designed by Klaus-Jürgen Wrede.
- The game is named after the fortified city of Carcassonne in southern France and is known for its simple yet strategic gameplay.
- Carcassonne combines elements of tile placement, area control, and strategic decision-making, making it an engaging and accessible game for players of all ages.
Game Setup

- Each player takes a set of colored meeples (small wooden figures) and places them in front of them.
- Shuffle the Carcassonne tiles and place them face-down to create a draw pile.
- Each player draws a meeple from their set and places it in front of them as their scoring marker.
- The starting tile, featuring a landscape with roads, cities, and fields, is placed in the center of the play area.
Rules & Instructions

The game is played in turns, with each player taking the following actions on their turn:
- Draw a tile: Draw a tile from the draw pile, keeping it hidden from other players.
- Place a tile: Connect the newly drawn tile to the existing tiles on the table. Each edge of the tile must match the features on the adjacent tiles.

- [Optional] Place a meeple: Players can choose to place one of their meeples on the tile they just placed.
- There are different placement options:
- Roads: Place a meeple on a road segment. This claims ownership of the road. Players score points for the road when…
